How come there are no RTS porn games?

Hello again, my pornlings! (the hentai/porn world needs a game with swarms of horny zerglings)

Anyway REPORT!

You guys don't want to hear about me being swamped with real live work, but I am.

"How does that affect the game?" you ask. In a very problematic way, you see I had to produce a story for a comic and creativity is not a bottomless well for me it's a stamina gauge, it needs time to recharge, the good news is THE TIME IS NIGH!... to work heavily on the game again.

What I will be tackling this time? A actual 2 weeks of game play, yay!

But I need some ideias from you guys.

After the fight with Domina the player will have to get a job, not a regular job 9 to 5 stuff, more like gigs, you can go there and just work for a week on one turn (morning, afternoon or night).

And I need some ideas for jobs, I got stripper, the race car thing people liked, and... something elsea morning job... I don't know, throw in some ideas.

The game it self must start after domina fight, it makes sense, right?

I used to make games, it's a tough racket...

I like to start with: I'm not quitting I'm ranting.

But first the game I will make updates from now on like this:

There will be a update that will advance the plot followed by a update that ads content.

example: this update the plot was advanced until the end of domina fight, the next update will will only add to this content, more random encounters, eventual re-write, and finish promised content.

Now on with the rant

I want to be a producer, a video-game producer.

What does a producer does? It mainly keep the game down to release date, it red-lines features, even the coolest ones, in the name of the project.

It does other things but it's his job to ship the game in release date.

And there is a reason why a producer shouldn't develop the game, to red-line features that you design, code or wrote (in my case all 3) takes a toll in your self-esteem, it destroys the vision you fell in love with and when you do things for free love is all you got.

But I need to take a step back and put my mind in where I must draw the "love" from.

A developer takes love from a bug-free code or a well oiled engine.

A designer takes love from innovative features or well thought mechanics that delivers the experience.

A artist takes love from well written scenes and fleshed out characters.

A producer takes his love from seeing his game out there, the project done, the good and the bad reviews, because hate comes from everywhere else.
The developer will hate him for not have time for one more iteration,
The designer will hate him for red-lineing his features,
And the artists hates everybody because they are douches(:p).

I all 4 and 3 them hate me for the stuff I had to take out to get the game update "on time".

Really, I had made a "apology post" before the first comment came in such was the disappointment I had with the update, but you guys were nice and I felt the "likes."

Damn you Helmut!

THE GAME!!!

The bug that you get after the first fight that says undefined should be ok now.

It was a noob upercase/lowercase problem, my bad.

The same bug happens right before domina's fight, also fixed it should all work now.

Since we are counting "my bads"I should make a save game like magma did after the character creation, making the character over and over again to play again get old quickly.

It may have bugs... Bad week guys, brasil lost.

Now the post

First of all I would like to apologise for the (even grater) delay and give some explanation and here it goes:

"No plan of operations extends with certainty beyond the first encounter with the enemy's main strength" or "no plan survives contact with the enemy,"

AND

"Strategy is a system of expedients."

It proved to be extra true with this update.

The first part was my beautiful plan, so well crafted... It didn't survived very well the encounter with the ever "growing scope" trap

The way I experienced it the "trap" isn't a so much a trap as a lure, a siren call, singing all the cool stuff your game could be and you don't realise how much you are screwed until you are 2 days delayed on your schedule and 50% on the original scope because you go sidetracked.

"Strategy is a system of expedients."

I had to look  up what "expedients" mean the way I see it I needed some contingency plans.

So this is the plan from now on, I will create a check point... let's say Sonia fight, or Mohan fight, create the barebones to get there even if it have no in between and then with the remaining time fill the blanks with as much juice as possible, and finally, in date, release the update.

And a third excuse is that real life needed me, but i should know that porn games and real life don't get along.

I will take a small break this week and try to create a better schedule

PS: If there are any German here YOU CAN'T PLAY MY GAME! (just kidding, great game)

Quick update: Too soon, junior...

Guys, just to say that I'm working HARD to release game update tomorrow content to expect:

Character Creation

Intro

Intro fight (with fight engine)

2 weeks of game play

Fighting style choice

3 random scenes in the 1st week ( and 1 follow up next week depending on the 1st week outcome).

Week 2: Kick ass or Chew bubblegum?

TIME FLYES!!! When you are programming...not... I'm full of lies!
Actually I failed... I didn't think I would need a random number on the day System, the combat engine is untouched for weeks and buggy (but it works at least the first time), all I have done is write non-code, story lines, and porn.

Come to think of it, not so bad, the mechanics are supposed to be raw because I WILL change them on your feedback, no design is perfect on the first go.

Speaking of DESIGN:

Usually a game revolves in a duality system, black and white, good and bad, submission and dominance and... slutyness and... what? chastity, monogamy? whatever. One "path" is a win and the other is a lose

But is this the best way to go "gameplay wise"? Imagine: there are 2 paths one path you lose one leg, and the other path you don't, now chose. not really a choice there

To illustrate that Magma's in all his wisdom created THE SLUT_FAME!
Each time you did the nasty stuff that goes up and you changed the character description to worse, pretty cool hum? But why is being a slut is bad, being a pushover is bad, but you can like The Sex and don't be a coward, and mainly, in Magma's you where pushed over into sex, and THAT was bad and lead you down to a bad ending.

I will dive deeper, I will create FAME and it increases the amount of money you make each week! and pretty much everything you do might increase that, somebody saw you get molested? it create a buzz and people will want to see you, kick the ass of the molester? buzz buzz buzz, got your ass kicked BY the molester? weak pushover... it's no perfect but it creates progress by sacrifice, on one side you can became more submissive and get fame or get fame but have a chance to LOSE, not the game but fame!

But, mister Daemonhany, why do I want fame? because it gets you money, Is the ONLY WAY TO INCREASE YOUR STATS(except for the initial strength and weakness), it's your "XP" from now on. "why?" because choices!, will you get a +2 in strength or dex, save for paying rent or save it for a rainy moment? choices, agency, yes.
