Army of Two

You guys have been wondering if I will keep posting update regularly and this post is kind of a answer in and of it self but "Yes I will". (as reagularly as this is so 1 post every 1 or 2 weeks)

How is the game progressing: I felt I was loosing track of all the tasks and stuff I need to do so I called for reinforcements and now my good friend... we will call him "Zman"... My good friend Zman will be tackling the code department and leave me with the sexy and story bits.

His help will be invaluable in the completion of this project, I can't stress the lesson "game making is not a lonesome road" enough game making is a team effort and you guys are involved in this too, after all a game is only a game when someone plays it.

This post took a wile because I wanted to see if Zman will come on-board and tell you guys all about it.

No chance on the deadline though I need my time.

Note book battery running out got to go.

  2. Two people working on it know, that makes the gears on my head start working, so many posibilities, and it doubles the chances that at least one of em have my same fetishes.
    I'd like to comment more but I'd need something like a teaser for that.
    IS there any chance you'll work in any of the gyms in this release????

  3. Sounds great that you have extra help. A few comments on various things...

    Do the 'jobs' that you've written so occur only between the first fight with Domina and the main character's second fight? Or have you been writing them so that they continue past that, and are ongoing past the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc fight? Providing of course the character doesn't get fired or quit.

    Will there be an option to 'throw' a challenge? ie, if you want your character to fail in standing up to a gang, have you (or do you plan to) implement an option to not roll the dice but simply fail? You could have an option at the beginning of the fight: 'choose what happens or roll the dice?'

    I kind of miss the option to deliberately make my character do poorly at various things. I wanted to fail badly at the Domina fight to see how many changes she'd force upon the character ("That was pathetic. I was just going to make you shave your cunt everyday, but now you're going to paint your nails bright red, wear lipstick and make-up everyday, wear short-skirts - mid-thigh at the longest - AND you're going to go out and get a really fake-looking boob job. Two cups at the least.").

    1. I really like the more changes the worse you do idea. Is that in the game now? I know that her dialog changes slightly depending on how well you do.

    2. Every job has 3 parts: The first part of a job is before the second fight (Domina being the first).

      Challenges will have a Submit option, but the worst thing is to try to fight and lose.

      Fights will not be "trowable" no matter how low the character sinks, if she is fighting on the ring she is trying to win.

  4. To choose if you want to win or loose the match from the begining of the fight?
    I like the idea, as a a second run option thought, since having it from the first run would kinda make the game a bit less interesting.
    Just my opinion though.

    1. Well I think it'd be more of an auto-lose button. You can always choose to throw a match. That's always in your power unless the other person is trying to throw the match and is better at it than you, but that would be an odd situation to say the least.

  5. Alright, I can see auto-win or auto-lose could actually be a negative for the game, since re-playability is something a game creator will want.

    I was thinking along the lines of how some players want to go the submissive 'victim' route and others want the strong 'winner' route. Me, I tend to pick the more submissive routes. In the original game I tried to do as poorly as possible to see if there was more than lipstick/nails/shave as punishment. I knew you could get less if you did better (shave-only?).

    How about I re-phrase the idea as have more options in a fight that could let you do more poorly. ie, in the fights there are 'rest' options. But that 'rest' option didn't appear every turn. To see if I could possibly lose the first fight I kept using 'rest' when it was available and otherwise using my least effective attacks. To tell the truth, this is an option of mild interest to me, so I wouldn't want the creators to go out of their way in implementing it.

    The option for a 'character' - as opposed to the 'player' - to throw a match would only show up if the character had some reason to do so. ie, mobsters pressuring you to throw the fight, or you're fighting someone who needs a win and you agree or take pity on them, or you've place a bet against yourself. Throwing a fight, at least in the gambling against yourself option, should have the possibility of people finding out. You'd then find yourself kicked out of that level of fighting, and competing in a lower circuit (possibly just mud-wrestling at local pubs until your probation period is over or they invite you back because your star has risen again).

    1. Hello to answer you question I will have to show you some mechanics planned for the game.

      The character lost to Domina, that means she will have to wait for another challenger to do so she will have to aquire "Fame".

      Every challenge will have 2 or 3 ways you can deal with them:

      1) Fight it! (You win she gain Fame or lose she lose Will)

      2) Talk it! (Not every situation she can fight with she brute force, same as "fight it", exe: she is being seduced and seduction is a dominance game.)
      3) Submit (submit is NOT LOSE, and she gain Fame and lose Will)

    2. Will fame and will be visible stats? As of right now the visible stats are strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, charisma, and stamina.

      Will there be any other stats? Dom/sub, prim/slutty, ect? Well I guess dom/sub is will more or less. The rest of the question still stands.
